At Sendly, we believe your data is your own. We designed this service to transfer files as quickly and securely as possible, without hoarding your personal information or keeping your files longer than necessary.
We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide an email address to use Sendly. Because we do not collect personal profiles, we have nothing to sell to advertisers or third-party data brokers.
Sendly acts solely as a temporary bridge between two devices. Here is how we handle your files:
Sendly offers optional Client-Side AES Encryption. When you choose to set a password, your file is mathematically locked inside your web browser before it is ever uploaded. We have zero knowledge of your file contents, do not store your passwords, and cannot decrypt your files even if requested.
Sendly is designed for personal and professional file sharing. By using Sendly, you agree that you will not use our service to transfer:
While we do not actively monitor file contents due to encryption, any reports of abuse will result in the immediate blocking of the offending IP addresses.
Sendly is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not liable for any lost data or files that fail to transfer. We recommend always keeping a backup of important files.
To ensure fair use and server stability, users are permitted to upload files up to a maximum size of 500MB per standard transfer. For Client-Side Encrypted transfers, the limit is 50MB to prevent browser memory exhaustion on mobile devices. We reserve the right to throttle bandwidth or block IP addresses that abuse the service through automated scripting or excessive uploads.
